Project Overview
The Mummerts requested the help of Etowah Landscape to redesign their property from one of overgrown plants and structurally unsound stonework to one that complemented the architecture with an updated look. Through the use of new hardscape features and plant materials, we created a beautiful outdoor environment for them to enjoy.
Types of Work
The steeply sloped topography in the front was the most difficult challenge. New hardscape features included a wider driveway, redirecting the front entry and creating a level and welcoming upper garden entry. A boulder wall was built to lessen the slope, allowing a garden area while giving a natural finished look. All the elegant design details, were finished with hand-picked materials. Planting with flowering and eye catching textured shrubs and trees gave a new fresh look to the landscape and architectural beauty of the house.

A plain and unattractive backyard was turned into an enjoyable outdoor living space for friends and families with a stone patio seating area, calming natural water feature, stone fireplace, stepping stone patio and terraced garden area. All the improvements extended indoor living outside and created a year round pleasure.
