We are very pleased with the job that Tony Martin from Etowah Group and his crew did at our home. On a FIVE STAR RATING I would give them a 20. They were on time, every time; solved a huge water drainage problem; with our input they designed a beautiful landscaping plan to make sure our goals and needs were met; and then delivered on all of them. I had a couple other people to quote on the job and they may have done well, BUT, they could only do their one specialty. Tony could do every aspect of our needs. I call that one stop shopping. And by the way, at the end of every day they cleaned up any mess as if they were not even there each day.
Had our backyard completely rebuilt by Etowah, who came in with ideas we hadn’t thought of and helped our vision become not only a reality but a beautiful oasis. From the custom stone work to helping to level out yard, they took all input and crafted something better. Our foreman himself spent many hours on site, which you don’t see these days! We would highly recommend to others and will definitely use for future projects.
Hired the Etowah Lanscape Group to install a rock wall and boulder wall. Based on past experience with other landscapers I was really nervous about this project. Boy was I surprised by the level of professionalism, scheduling, communication, quality, and follow-up. I would highly recommend Tony and his crew for any landscape job you may have. They did a outstanding job and our walls look great. Our neighbors have also commented on the beautiful appearance.
Very professional and true experts at what they do. Melda completely redesigned our landscaping and we are constantly receiving compliments from neighbors who walk by. Tony's attention to detail and expertise is exceptional. They have installed stone walkways that we are very happy with. The lawn and landscape maintenance team also does an exceptional job. We would highly recommend.
Incredible experience with the entire team. Had our front yard completely redone. Grading, pavers laid, stone reworking, and landscaping. They came up with creative and practical designs we were so pleased with the end result. Getting ready to do lighting installation - and will continue with monthly maintenance - they do it all!
We have used Etowah for over 6 years and they are a pleasure to do business with. They know their stuff and are much more than a mow and blow company. We have used them for various projects ranging from weekly maintenance, tree removal, sod installation, sprinkler installation, new planting and much more. The weekly crew that comes out is conscientious of their work, courteous in their communication and always approachable if extra work is needed.
FAQs
What’s the difference between seasonal and perennial?
Seasonal plants, also called annuals, complete their life cycle in one growing season. They sprout, bloom, and die all in the same year, so you have to replant them the next season if you want them again. Perennials, on the other hand, live for many years. They may die back in winter, but their roots stay alive, and they grow back each year without replanting.
What are seasonal color plants?
Seasonal color plants are flowers or plants picked for their bright and attractive blooms during a particular season. For example, pansies add color in winter, while marigolds and petunias shine in summer. They’re great for giving gardens a fresh, vibrant look throughout the year by changing them with the seasons.
What is the season for perennials?
Perennials can bloom in different seasons depending on the type. Some bloom in spring (like tulips and peonies), some in summer (like daylilies and coneflowers), and others in fall (like asters). Even when not blooming, many perennials have leaves or greenery that make gardens look nice year-round.
What is the longest blooming shade perennial?
Some of the longest-blooming perennials for shady spots include Astilbe, Bleeding Heart, and Hellebore. These plants can flower for several weeks, adding color and beauty even in areas without much sunlight.
Does perennial mean seasonal?
No. Perennial doesn’t mean seasonal. Perennials are plants that keep coming back year after year, while seasonal (annual) plants only last for one season and then die.
What is the most common perennial flower?
Some of the most common perennials are daylilies, hostas, and coneflowers. They are popular because they’re easy to grow, need little care, and come back every year with beautiful blooms.
